Home Inspector Tips: Things to do to get ready for a Home Inspection if not already done so when putting your Home on the market.


1. Make sure all interior and exterior light fixtures work
2. Provide access to Hot Water Heater and Electric Panels
3. Make sure Attic Access available and no vehicles blocking if in garage.
4. Tighten all Doornobs, latches, etc.
5. Check all Plumbing fixtures are tight and working properly, no leaks
6. Clean dirty gutters or debris from roof
7. Make sure all windows open and close properly and lock
8. Make sure no standing water around house or rotten wood in contact with house.
